James Salerno, a shareholder in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, is an “AV” rated senior trial lawyer, has been awarded the prestigious AV® Preeminent™ rating by Martindale-Hubbell, with more than thirty-four years of experience. Mr. Salerno handles cases throughout South Florida, inclusive of the west coast. Mr. Salerno’s practice is in premises and general liability, products liability, auto and personal injury, construction, as well as employment law. His practice also includes first party coverage issues, general coverage issues, pre-suit examination under oath investigation and litigation of first party claims and general liability.
Mr. Salerno has extensive experience in representing companies from nationwide retailers to local businesses in premises, employment liability as well as security issues. Recently, Mr. Salerno was part of a defense team that successfully defended a case involving various business torts where the plaintiff sought a verdict in excess of $350,000,000.
